A 32 year-old Bakersfield man who was high on synthetic marijuana is jailed on charges that include burglary, child endangerment, and malicious mischief.

Police say Clarence Dupree was hiding under a house on Homaker Place Thursday morning, then jumped a fence on 28th Street where he tried to kidnap a four year-old boy and a six year-old girl. The kids were rescued by relatives.
