The Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners are heading to March Madness, with a buzzer-beating three-pointer for the win in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament.

Dedrick Basile hit the bucket with 0.2 seconds to go Saturday night, for a final score of 57-54 over New Mexico State. It will be CSUB’s first trip ever to the big dance.

The number 15 seed Runners learned Sunday the team will take on number two Oklahoma in the NCAA March Madness meet up Friday AT 1p.m. in Oklahoma City.
