Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of a 44-year-old male inmate at the Lerdo jail.

The body was discovered just before 8:00 Saturday morning. There were no signs of trauma or anything criminal was discovered in his cell, but the man reportedly had a long list of medical problems.
