Police have arrested a man in east Bakersfield on several charges after a traffic stop, including illegal possession of a firearm.

Ricardo Lopez was pulled over on Haley street just east of MLK Blvd. at 7:00 Saturday night, and a search of his car turned up a loaded gun and drugs. Lopez also faces vehicle code violations and gang related charges.
