A summer trial date has been set for the Bakersfield man accused of killing his half brother while high on drugs.

Twenty-two-year-old Kyle Hulsey will face a jury on July 11th for stabbing Joseph McMillen during a fight in September in west Bakersfield. Hulsey says he took Xanax before the scuffle. Police think alcohol also played a role.
