The assets of the Bakersfield Investment club have been frozen by a federal judge in Fresno, as the Securities and Exchange Commission investigate claims of fraud.

The Bakersfield Californian reports the temporary order was signed Monday by Judge Lawrence J O’Neill, who cited a “reasonable likelihood” that BIC Real Estate Developement owner Daniel Nase may be breaking securities laws.
