A judge has refused to find corrections officer Cesar Navejar innocent of sexually assaulting a female inmate at the Kern County Juvenile Facility, which means his arrest record will not be sealed.

Navejar was acquitted March 9th of all charges, including three felonies, but Judge Kenneth Twisselman ruled Monday there was “reasonable doubt as to why” he was outside the girl’s cell on the night of the alleged attack.
