A 30 year old Bakersfield man has pleaded guilty to being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, a loaded Russian assault weapon with 145 rounds of ammo.

Federal prosecutors say Bryson LaPaul-Blair was busted as part of the Project Safe Neighborhoods campaign by Bakersfield Police and other law enforcement. He faces up to 10 years in prison and a substantial fine.
