Bakersfield Police are looking for a woman who posed as a property manager on Facebook and lured people to an empty house she did not own.

Officers say she had the victims complete a rental application and give her a $13-hundred deposit, but when they moved in they found out she is not the property manager and had no right to show it.

The woman goes by the name “NicOle Ortiz” online. She is between 25-35-years-old and has brown hair. Anyone with information can call BPD at 661-327-7111.
