A crash in the intersection of Beale Avenue and Niles Street in east Bakersfield sent a woman to the hospital with minor injuries, but a man in the vehicle was not so lucky.

Police say he sustained major injuries for the two vehicle collision that happened around 11:40 Saturday morning. The accident is being investigated.
