The man who killed a San Quentin Prison guard two years ago in a car crash has withdrawn his plea of no contest and will get a new trial.

Prosecutors say Rodolfo Contreras was high on drugs when his car struck David Aggio on Gosford Road at Stockdale Highway in Bakersfield. A second degree murder charge will be reinstated when Contreras faces a judge in May.
