City arson investigators are looking into the cause of a fire at a vacant shop in an east Bakersfield strip mall.

News reports say it broke out around 9:00 Thursday night on East 19th Street at Inyo Street, near the J&E Restaurant supply. The first crews on scene found flames shooting through the roof.
