Police have released surveillance photos of a man who came up to several teenage girls in northwest Bakersfield recently and started asking them questions. Investigators say the suspect was seen in both a light colored 90’s sedan and riding a longboard skateboard when he approached the girls on Noriega Avenue near Polo Community Park. He’s described as a black male in his mid 20s, about 5’5 to 5’8 tall with medium to heavy build and wearing red shorts and a white T shirt. Anyone who’s seen the subject is asked to call BPD at 327-7111, or Detective Abshire at 326-3559.
