City staff are looking into changing the rules for taco trucks and other mobile food vendors in Bakersfield at the request of the Downtown Development Corporation.

The Bakersfield Californian reports the current rules limit the popular food trucks to 10 minutes in one spot and just one at a time in the same location.

A draft ordinance is expected June 2nd.
