FOOTBALL PLAYER’S FAMILY GETS PAYOUT IN WRONGFUL DEATH

The University of California at Berkeley has agreed to pay almost $5 Million to a Bakersfield family for the death of their son on the football field.

Ted Agu died two years ago during a conditioning workout, but his family says the team knew he should not have been out there because of a medical condition.

The school will also revise its health and safety practices as part of the deal.
