A Bakersfield man has been sentenced to 18 months in jail for pointing a laser at a Kern County Sheriff’s helicopter. 26 year old Pablo Cesar Sahagun plead guilty to pointing a beam at the copter that is 2 thousand times more powerful than legally permitted for laser pointers. No one was hurt in the January laser strike.
