25-YEARS-TO-LIFE SENTENCE UPHELD

A Bakersfield judge has denied a motion to reduce the 25-years-to-life prison sentence for a young woman who was convicted in the murder of 81-year-old Dorothy Session. During a burglary in 2010, Angelique Nash served as lookout as her sister, Katila Nash and David Moses went inside the victim’s home. Moses admitted to hitting Session, who died after falling. The sentence will be appealed.
