Bakersfield Police say a man is recovering from being shot Monday night on MLK Blvd at E. California Avenue, and they are looking for the person who pulled the trigger. Officers got a report of shooting around 10:30 but describe the victim’s wounds as non-life-threatening.

The suspect drove off in a small, burgundy colored SUV with a spare tire on the back.
