A man is recovering with non-life-threatening wounds after he was shot in Heritage Park in east Bakersfield.

Police got the call around 2:40 Sunday afternoon from the park on Mt. Vernon Avenue near Kern Medical.

The victim says he didn’t know the suspects. There are no other details.
