A private company has taken over management of the historic Fox Theater. The non-profit that owns the venue has handed day-to-day operations over to a new company founded by the Fox’s manager, Bob Bender. The new entity is Bender Entertainment Group and their goal is to bring more variety of shows to the Fox and to have events every week of the year. There is, new state-of-the-art sound and lighting in the Fox and Bender says that goes along with a fresh coat of paint and some new upholstery for the seats. However, he says it’s important that the 85-year-old building maintain its unique charm.
