The boat racer who died on Lake Ming has been identified. 37-year-old James Reeve of Madera died Sunday when his racing boat overturned. The sheriff’s office says he was harnessed in and wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Reeve was participating in the Spring Fling at Ming jet boat races.
