The Lamont woman who was arrested for DUI when she crashed her car with her two young children in the backseat has been sentenced to two years in jail.

Holly Condit’s attorney says she was drinking the night of December 27th after the death of a close family member and never intended to hurt anyone, but Deputy District Attorney Brad Taconi says her actions put everyone at risk.

Condit will also have to pay over $23,000 to the woman she hit on Old River Road and Panama Lane in southwest Bakersfield.
