The trial of a Lake Isabella man charged with first-degree murder had the suspect admitting he beat his roommate, but he says he didn’t intend to kill him.

32-year-old Raymond Tenorio is accused of pummeling 48-year-old Kirk Haag to death a year ago after learning the victim may have sexually molested his daughter. Tenorio testified Wednesday he was enraged at what Haag had done.
