UPDATED RAIL PLAN OKAYED

The California High Speed Rail Authority Board voted to adopt the 2016 business plan. The board will send it to the legislature on Monday as required by law. Thursday’s adoption included a few changes for the Central Valley part of the plan like the addition of a station in Merced, improved  access to Amtrak through a connecting station in Madera along with an interim station in Wasco in Kern County.
