A high speed pursuit of a stolen car took Kern County deputies from Bakersfield to Tulare Country.

Sheriff’s spokesman Ray Pruitt says the vehicle was spotted near Fairfax Road and Highway 178 just before 3:00 Thursday morning as it sped by a deputy. Three people who jumped out and ran were captured. 38-year-old Alejandro Pacheco was arrested for auto theft and evading, two women were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.
