A man who police say choked a woman to death at a motel on Wible Road has been convicted of first-degree murder. 34-year-old Ruben Castro killed Andrea Russell – who was 34 at the time of her death – and then asked a friend to help dump the body in an abandoned house last May. Motel video captured the removal of the body. Russell had reportedly posted on a prostitution website the day of her murder and reports suggest she meth Castro at he Super 8 Motel to pay off a drug debt.
