The annual report has Bakersfield with over 379 thousand residents in 2015, up 1-point-2 percent from the year before. On the negative side in Kern County is Tehachapi which declined by 4-point-2 percent to just over 12 thousand people. To the south, Los Angeles has grown to reach the milestone number of just over 4 million residents.
