The Kern County Teacher of the Year Awards have been handed out.  Stockdale High School graphic arts teacher Matthew Dills and Zepher Lane Elementary STEAM program teacher Renee Wells have been named the Kern County Teachers of the Year by the County Superintendent of Schools. The two were honored along with more than 50 other finalists at the Bakersfield Art Museum last night [tue]. Both are now eligible for the state Teacher of the Year award.
