More accountability could soon be demanded of the High Speed Rail Authority.A a bill working its way through the legislature – AB 2847 – would require more details about costs, scope and schedule for each phase of the project be given to the legislature and that financing costs be included in the business plan. The bill is expected to get unanimous support in the Assembly before heading to the State Senate.
