Bakersfield police were able to talk a man out of a suicide-by-cop attempt. The man was seen waving a knife Thursday morning at the intersection of 30th and F Streets. When officers told him to drop the knife, police say 49-year-old Shean Bradford asked them to kill him. Police were able to finally convince him to drop the weapon and he was booked for resisting arrest and being under the influence of spice.
