SMOKING, VAPING FOR 21+ ONLY

It’s getting harder to smoke in California as our state becomes only the second to raise the age for tobacco use to 21. Governor Brown signed legislation this week raising the age from 18. The law also treats vaping products the same as tobacco including banning them from use in public places. It takes effect June 9th and follows Hawaii who raised their smoking age in January. For those who complained that an 18-year-old could fight for our country but not smoke a cigarette, the new law exempts members of the military.
