AMATEUR GOLFERS COMPETE AND SUPPORT CHARITY

A record 107 golfers hit the links at the Bakersfield Country Club as part of the Audi Quattro Cup.

The world’s largest amateur tournament also serves as a fundraiser for one local charity, and Norma Rojas-Mora with the Housing and Opportunity Foundation of Kern says many people who teed up asked her about how they can lend a hand.

Monday’s winning team will advance to the finals at Pebble Beach and may represent the United States at the World Championships later this year in Spain.
