The man identified as the gunman who shot and wounded another man on Quincy Street near Kern Medical in east Bakersfield has been arrested.

The victim is in critical condition from wounds suffered early Monday morning. 21-year-old Jose Pena is being held for attempted murder with bail set at $500,000.
