A Bakersfield police cruiser that failed to yield to traffic at Garces Circle became involved in an accident.

The squad car was hit just before 5:00 Tuesday afternoon, and the woman driving the other car was taken to a hospital complaining of pain. The officer was not hurt and said he didn’t see the other vehicle.
