A Kern County Sheriff’s deputy who was arrested twice in two days has been charged with spousal abuse, assault, and false imprisonment.

Gideon Allday was busted Friday for being under the influence while on the job at a downtown Bakersfield courthouse and was re-arrested the next day for a domestic violence incident. Allday also faces drug charges.

His next court date is May 19th.
