More money is coming to the Valley to provide clean drinking water for rural communities. The added funding comes despite a shrinking state budget. Governor Brown’s May budget revision is $2-Billion lower than January projections but $5-million has been added for the Department of Water Resources emergency drinking water program bringing the year’s total to $15-million.
