First it was men’s basketball, now Runners softball is going big time. The Cal State Bakersfield women’s softball team got its first Division I Western Athletic Conference title in school history by defeating number one-ranked New Mexico State 1-0. Amber Mills pitched her first shutout this season and Jo Larios hit the first home run in her CSUB career for the win. The Runners face UCLA in the NCAA Regionals Friday.
