Police are looking for the person who shot a man several times at in southwest Bakersfield neighborhood and fled the scene.

The incident happened Sunday on Charmain Street just west of Wible Road. The victim was taken to a hospital for the non-life-threatening wounds.

Officers do not have any leads yet.
