Bakersfield firefighters had to come out twice to fight a fire in a boarded up house on Pershing Street near 9th Street. The fire was reported for the second time Tuesday morning around 5:00, and Battalion Chief Danny Brown tells KGET-TV it’s the same address where a fire was stamped out Monday afternoon.

The house was fully engulfed by flames when crews arrived. The cause of the first fire may be arson; it’s not clear how the other fire started.
