THE FIX IS IN, OR GETTING THERE

The Department of Water Resources submitted testimony on California WaterFix. They say it would do a better job balancing environmental and supply needs, plus capture more runoff in wet years. The department sent testimony to the Water Resources Board Wednesday ahead of public hearings on a plan that includes adding three diversion points to the State Water Project north of the Delta. This would allow coordination and flexibility  between the State Water Project and the federal Central Valley Project.
