A man who was already in jail for a probation violation has been arrested for the murder of another man in central Bakersfield.

Deputies say 30-year-old Christopher Valenzuela is the person who shot 23-year-old Anthony Collazo on Water Street in April. The motive is unknown. Valenzuela will be arraigned on Wednesday.
