A Bakersfield man has been arrested for attempted murder after police say he hit another man in the head with a rock. The men were in an argument around 7:00 Saturday night at a residence on Hahn Avenue near Stine Road.

The victim is in critical condition at a hospital; the suspect is his son, Kyri Vaughn.
