A man was shot multiple times in east Bakersfield after words were exchanged between two groups.  The confrontation happened early Wednesday. The victim is expected to survive after being found in the street just past midnight on Isabel Road near Lake Street and deputies are searching for suspects. The man was walking with two other people when five men got out of an SUV and one opened fire.
