254 YEARS FOR CHASE, SHOTS

A man who lead CHP and Bakersfield police on a chase before being wounded in a gunfire exchange has been sentenced.The total time is 254 years in prison for multiple counts of attempted murder of a peace officer. 45-year-old Miguel Villanueva was sentenced Thursday for the March 2014 chase and a standoff in a residential garage near Belle Terrace and McDonald Way. None of the officers were hurt.
