The annual 4th of July community celebration and fireworks is returning to the Park at Riverwalk. Families that want to picnic had better hurry to make reservations. The City of Bakersfield and AEG announced the free event Thursday which includes the traditional fireworks and live music at the Bright House Amphiteater. Picnic shelters in the park must be reserved in person at the city’s Recreation and Parks Department.
