FELON WITH ASSAULT RIFLE SENTENCED

A Bakersfield man arrested after a shooting near Quailwood elementary school was sentenced. A federal judge in Fresno Monday sentenced the shooter to three years and ten months in prison. 30-year-old Bryson Blair had pleaded guilty in federal court in March to being a felon in possession of a loaded assault rifle. He was found when a rented vehicle was located at his house riddled with bullets. No one was hurt in the April 2015 shooting incident.
