Hundreds of people turned out for a Rosary and all night vigil for Helen Chavez, the wife of United Farm Workers co-founder Cesar Chavez. The event was attended by Kerry Kennedy, whose father Bobby Kennedy marched with Chavez in the 60s.

The funeral mass is 9a.m. Monday at St. Malachy Catholic Church. It’s open to the public and will be packed. Chavez will then be buried in a private ceremony at the National Monument in Keene dedicated to her husband.
