The board members for Bakersfield City Schools asked a lot of questions at a public hearing on the district’s Local Control and Accountability Plan, or L-CAP.

Although no one from the public came to comment, trustees held a discussion with staff about whether there’s evidence that programs that are being funded are getting results. Assistant Superintendent Steve McClain says that’s part of the plan.

The L-CAP plan will be finalized at the June 28th board meeting.
