A 47-year-old Mojave man is facing charges that include attempted murder and spousal abuse after holding deputies in a three hour standoff.

They say Roger Tils’s girlfriend reported he’d fired two shots at her in a home on Barstow Road Monday night and missed and that he’d assaulted her before he fell asleep.
