There’s been a change in the vote count for the 21st Congressional District. Emilio Huerta, son of UFW co-founder Dolores Huerta, has taken over the second place spot from Daniel Parra who had been leading at last count. The Secretary of State updated numbers Thursday morning and Huerta now leads by 797 votes to take on incumbent David Valadao in November. The count is not yet final and election officials have until 30 days after the primary to finalize the count.
